What we look for in a trainer
The best trainers read code carefully, run it rather than guess, and write explanations another developer could act on.
You will do well if you
- Write production-quality code in at least one of our languages
- Can explain why one solution is better than another
- Test edge cases before you trust a result
- Write clear, precise English
- Are 18 or older with a laptop and a reliable connection

Common questions
How much will I earn?
Every project pays at least $45 an hour, and some pay more for specialist experience. You are paid for the hours you work, so your earnings depend on how much time you choose to put in.
How and when am I paid?
Twice a month, on the 1st and the 15th, through the major international payout service you choose when you are hired. Each payout covers the hours approved in the pay period before it.
Can I use AI tools during the assessment?
No. Every answer and every line of code must be your own. Submissions that show AI-generated or copied work are declined. The work depends on independent human judgement, so the assessment has to show yours.
How long does it take to hear back?
We email you a decision within 3 business days of submitting your assessment. Your dashboard shows the date to expect it.
What if I do not pass?
You can retake the assessment 6 months after the decision, using the same account.
