What personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the choices you have.

1. Who we are
CodeForAI (“CodeForAI”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at codeforai.tech and the platform through which software developers apply for, and carry out, paid work training AI models. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
This policy applies to visitors to our website, candidates who apply, and trainers we hire.
2. Information we collect

Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and device information recorded in server logs, and the IP address of anyone who submits the contact form.
- Time zone: detected by your browser at sign-up so we can show times in your local time.
- Cookies: strictly necessary cookies that keep you signed in and protect forms. Our Cookie Policy lists them.
- Bot protection: on the sign-up and contact forms we use Google reCAPTCHA, which collects device and interaction data to tell people from automated abuse. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Hiring decisions are made by people. Multiple-choice answers are marked automatically against an answer key, and a human reviewer reads every submission and makes the decision.
4. Demographic information
The demographic questions in the developer profile are voluntary: every question offers “Prefer not to answer”, and choosing it has no effect on your application. Your demographic answers are not shown to the reviewer who assesses your submission and are not used in hiring decisions. They are used only in aggregate, to understand the diversity of the people who apply and work with us.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers who run parts of the platform for us under contract: hosting and storage, email delivery, real-time messaging infrastructure and Google reCAPTCHA. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
- Payout services such as PayPal, Wise or Payoneer, which receive the payout amount and the account details you gave us, so they can pay you.
- Authorities, where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or CodeForAI.
- A successor, if CodeForAI or its assets are transferred to another organisation, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
6. International transfers
We accept applications from every country, and our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where we transfer personal information across borders we use appropriate safeguards, such as contractual commitments from our providers to protect it to the standard this policy describes.
7. How long we keep it

If you ask us to delete your account, we do so sooner, except for records we must keep by law.
8. Security
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Traffic to the platform is encrypted in transit. Access to candidate and trainer data is limited to the staff who need it, and new payout accounts must be confirmed from your email address before any money can be sent to them. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us straight away if you suspect your account has been misused.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete (you can update your profile yourself at any time);
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it, without affecting what we did before; and
- complain to your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@codeforai.tech from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first.
10. Age requirement
CodeForAI is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will email you before it takes effect.
