No. We hire on the quality of your assessment. Many trainers have never worked on AI before; the project guidelines explain everything specific to the work.

Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, C#, C++, Go, Rust, Swift and Ruby. You take the coding exercise in whichever of these you are strongest in.

No. Applying, the assessment and working with us are always free. We will never ask you to pay for training, equipment or access to work.

No. Each person may hold one account. Duplicate accounts are closed, including any application attached to them.

No. Hiring is continuous, and applications are reviewed in the order they are submitted.

Most candidates finish in 60 to 90 minutes. There is no timer.

No. Your answers save automatically a couple of seconds after you stop typing. Sign in on any device and you will find them exactly where you left them.

You may look up official language documentation. You may not use AI assistants, code generators, copied solutions, or help from any other person. Submissions that show AI-generated or copied work are declined. See the Candidate Integrity Policy for details.

No. Submitting locks your answers and sends them for review, so check everything before you submit. If a technical problem affected your submission, contact support and we can reopen it.

Correct, working code; clear, idiomatic code quality; accurate technical reasoning; sound judgement of AI responses; and clear written English. How it works lists what each of these means.

Within 3 business days of submission. Your dashboard shows the date to expect it, and we email you the decision either way.

You can retake the assessment 6 months after the decision, using the same account. Your decision email gives the exact date.

Every project pays at least $45 USD an hour. Projects that need specialist or senior experience pay more. You see a project's rate before you start work on it.

Twice a month, on the 1st and the 15th. Hours from the 26th to the 10th are paid on the 15th, and hours from the 11th to the 25th are paid on the 1st of the following month.

Through major international payout services. When you are hired you add and confirm your payout account in your dashboard, and each payout is sent to your default account.

CodeForAI charges nothing. Your payout service may apply its own receiving or currency conversion fees.

No. Trainers are independent contractors. You choose your own hours, there is no minimum commitment, and you are responsible for any taxes that apply to you where you live.

Reviewing AI-written code, comparing and ranking responses, writing ideal responses, and spotting bugs and security issues that models miss. The work page has examples.

As many or as few as you like, subject to the tasks available on your projects. There is no minimum.

We match you to projects using the languages, experience and availability in your developer profile. Keeping your profile up to date helps us find you more work.

Every demographic question offers "Prefer not to answer". Your answers are not shown to the reviewer who assesses your application.
